Note: The following form will generate a draft press release that will be sent to the Public Relations, Marketing and Development manager for review. Upon review, the PR manager will send out the release to multiple media organizations (print, radio, TV) and share the event using social media. The main purpose of a press release is to: increase public awareness of activities and services provided by the college, increase public awareness of faculty and student accomplishments, and increase awareness of special programs or services provided by the college.
Please include your contact information in case the PR manager has further questions or would like more information. If you would like to submit photos along with the release, email photos (jpeg format, at least 150dpi) to maureen.montgomery@portervillecollege.edu.
For proper coverage of your event on the day it occurs, please send information at least one week prior to the event date. The Public Relations Department reserves the right to use all material according to its timeliness.
